WHAT are Chemical Peels?

Chemical peel is a technique used to improve the appearance of the skin.

WHY do Chemical Peels?

Chemical peels improve age spots, fine lines and wrinkles, freckles, and moderate skin discoloration. It also can be used to smooth rough skin and treat some precancerous skin growths, i.e. actinic keratosis

 

Chemical Peel Treatments are performed on the face, neck, hand and body.

 

Types of peels

There are three different types of chemical peels -

• Superficial peels

• Medium peel.

• Deep peel.

Chemical Peel PROCESS at Studio Aesthetique -

• In this treatment, a chemical solution is applied to the skin, which causes it to “blister” and eventually peel off.

• The new, regenerated skin is usually smoother and less wrinkled than the old skin.

• Homecare and sunscreen are prescribed according to skin type.
